OUR MISSION
Founded in 2022, The Lunar Journal is an international literary magazine that publishes poetry, prose, and art. We aim to facilitate creativity and expression among emerging writers across the world. Our submissions are open to people of all ages and backgrounds, and we particularly strive to uplift BIPOC, LGBTQ+, women, trans folks, and other underrepresented voices in our mission to share a diverse community of stories with others. We are looking for work that explores the liminal spaces between sun and storm, the forbidden paths that few dare to venture. In our mission to highlight pieces that embody the moon and stars, we aspire to publish stories that pull us together despite how far we may seem.
The Lunar Journal firmly recognizes the importance of feedback in the writing process. As such, we have a limited slot of free, detailed feedback available during every submission window.
