Dear Readers,
Welcome to the third issue of The Lunar Journal. I'm thrilled to share with you transfixing tales of resistance against the status quo, subversions of stylistic expectations in both style and form, and art that shines a light on the frighteningly unexpected.
In the midst of the winter season, we hope these 15 stories serve as a beacon of hope to carry you into the new year. Delving into the fantastical, the amorphous, and the often jarring contrasts between various artistic mediums, our authors explored the limitless definition of what it means to exist in reverie. We're transported beyond the pages and into the restless worlds etched from creative minds, portraying what is not yet visible in our perceptions of reality. This clashing of fiction and finitude allows us to dive into the essence of art--how to coexist and thrive alongside it.
Thank you to the hundreds of submitters, our 14 contributors, and our incredibly hardworking staff for making this issue possible! And of course, thank you to you—our beloved readers—for your boundless support of our magazine and creative mission. Enjoy ISSUE III: REVERIE.
Sincerely,
